Meet Little Einsteins and space buns

My oldest daughter loves Little Einsteins. For her 3. birthday i made this Little Einsteins cake. She wanted something "macaroon" and "raspberry", so made macaroon cake with raspberry mousse. It was a bit sweet for my taste, another time I'll combine this combination with neutral flavoured cake.

Colorful buns for kindergarten

My oldest daughter just started kindergarten. I asked the children what color buns they would like.... all colours was mentioned:) .... The result was rainbow buns:)

How to make a cute monkey

Please press on the picture to see it in larger format.

Soccer Monkey Cake

I made this cake for Magnus' first birthday; they wanted monkeys and soccer. So i chose to combine those two themes into a cute "story" inspired by Strawberry Shortcake; ball and trophe was turned into a house and a tree-house. The trophy was painted with edible gold.

They wanted 10 cupcakes as well with the same theme. Instead of buying soccer balls on sugar paper i chose to make them with a cookie cutter.

I'll make tutorials on how to make the cute monkey and soccer balls soon.

Sincerly
Lisa.

How to make an icing/ chocolate cornet

Tutorial for making a cornet. I use cornets when I do run-out
techniques in royal icing or if I want to make chocolate patterns with melted
chocolate.

1: I start by cutting a square piece of baking paper into 4
equal sized triangles.
2: Fold the triangle as illustrated.
3: The tip of the cone must be very tight, so that there is a visible hole. This makes it easy to manage when executed icing or chocolate in cone.
4: Fold the corner down at the wide end. You are now finished making your cornet. Now fill icing or melted chocolate in your cornet. Cut a small hole in the head, and now you're ready to decorate.
