Easter Bunnies

Easter bunnies in basket 3D cake that I made for my daughters easter themed birthday.

Bunnies: Rice krispie Treat covered with modelling chocolate (look under recipes). Whiskers is cake-wire. Eyes, nose, tongue is fondant.

Basket: I placed the cake in my freezer for about 15 min, before carving. This makes it So much easier!  Covered it with chocolate buttercream and decorated it with royal icing.

Blanket: fondant.

It was chocolate cake with chocolate-mokka-fillling. Served with blueberry sherbet and strawberries.

Meet Little Einsteins and space buns

My oldest daughter loves Little Einsteins. For her 3. birthday i made this Little Einsteins cake. She wanted something "macaroon" and "raspberry", so made macaroon cake with raspberry mousse. It was a bit sweet for my taste, another time I'll combine this combination with neutral flavoured cake.

Colorful buns for kindergarten

My oldest daughter just started kindergarten. I asked the children what color buns they would like.... all colours was mentioned:) .... The result was rainbow buns:)
